Season 2 Reloaded: A Step in the Right Direction for Call of Duty
Warzone. It’s not revolutionary, but it does a lot of little things right, which is exactly what the game needed.
The Blackout Highlands map is a solid addition to Warzone, offering something new without overcomplicating things. It doesn’t feel like they tried to reinvent the wheel but instead gave us a fresh experience that’s just fun. Sometimes, less is more, and I think this new map hits the mark.
On the weapon front, I’m most excited about the M4A1-S. It’s the type of rifle I can rely on in all kinds of combat situations. The balance tweaks to other weapons like the SP-R 208 make it feel like they’re really paying attention to the community’s feedback. It’s great to see the devs continue to work on improving weapon balance rather than just throwing in new stuff.
One thing I hope they continue doing is focusing on bug fixes and technical performance. I’m always happier when the game just runs smoothly, and the Season 2 update definitely addresses some of the performance issues that have been annoying me.
