I strongly believe that every person has the potential to engage with life in a way that brings them fulfillment and joy. My passion for helping others drives my desire to continue the broader conversation around mental health and advocate for mental healthcare as an important piece to our overall well-being. With the right help, we can find a balance which brings healing and growth in the face of life’s challenges.
As a Registered Social Service Worker and psychotherapist, I prioritize a person-centered approach to therapy by providing you with an empathetic and non-judgmental environment to explore the challenges you’ve been facing. In currently completing my Honours Bachelor of Counselling Psychology, I've learned how to bring together evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused Therapy, and many other approaches, with a supportive environment to help you build practical skills and mindsets to improve your life.
I have years of experience supporting adults, youth, and children in therapeutic settings working through difficult emotions, behavioral changes, major life changes, and meaningful self-development.
By incorporating pieces from many therapeutic approaches under a trauma informed umbrella, we can work together to find an approach that works for you. It’s important that people feel heard, supported, and engaged in the changes they want to see for themselves. People are wonderfully unique, and your therapy journey should be tailored to your needs!
Fun fact about me: I love all things music! Playing, listening, and exploring music as an art is something that brings me joy!
