Who We Are and What We Do

Mainstream Therapy is a Registered Social Work Corporation built on stability, credibility, and sustainability. We take a holistic, interprofessional approach to care and value teamwork and collaboration over individualism and autonomy.

 

Through the Academy, we extend that same support structure to healthcare providers ready to start their own business, taking them through an intensive private practice mentorship program so they don't have to do it alone.

 

Our Business Model

You work under our brand while building your own. Each apprentice gets their own location within Mainstream Therapy. We handle all Jane App setup, administration, booking, and supervision, included in your contractor rate.

 

Together we build your brand, your CEO identity, and your full practice infrastructure while you earn income seeing clients.

• My resume isn't linear, and that is my greatest asset. I have worked in front-end retail, corporate leadership, community non-profits, landscaping, general labor, and factories that built cars.​​​​​​​​​

• A lot of people can run a business when the economy is booming. I expanded and scaled a thriving private practice in the absolute dead-center of a global pandemic, and then successfully scaled it into a corporation.

  • Why it matters to you:  I don't just know how to build; I know how to pivot. I know how to overcome sudden sales slumps, handle massive systemic uncertainty, and adapt when the world changes overnight. If your practice hits a wall, I’ve likely already climbed it  so I have the skills to walk you through it.

• Digging into your beliefs, talking about them, and confronting your limitations can be tough work. I believe the work should be challenging AND fun. 

  • Why this matters to you: It can't be all business and no fun! I’ll demonstrate how I’ve moved through things that will make you laugh, make you cry, and some of my stories might even leave you in disbelief. Bringing humor to the process is my speciality. It keeps things light and gives us balance. It makes it easy to show up and be consistent when you know you’re going to have a good time.

• Building a business requires a mix of rigid strategy and creative invention. I have spent years designing frameworks, operations, and programs that don't just look good on paper-they actually work in the real world for real clients. I was my first client and learned to bridge the mental and physical body long before it was cool. 

  • Why it matters to you: I won't hand you a cookie-cutter template. I will teach you how to think creatively, innovate in your market, and build a practice structure that is resilient and uniquely yours.

• Street smarts are essential, but in our field, clinical and regulatory integrity are non-negotiable. I hold the academic requirements, professional status, and supervisory credentials recognized by both the OCSWSSW and the CRPO.
