Can My PC Run Monster Hunter Wilds? Here Are the System Requirements!
Hi all! I’ve been hyped about Monster Hunter Wilds since its Buy MH Wilds Items announcement, but now that the system requirements are officially out, I’m starting to get a bit concerned about whether my PC will be able to handle it. So I’ve been reading through the specs and wanted to share my thoughts in case anyone else is in the same boat.
First off, for the minimum specs, it seems like Capcom is aiming for a mid-tier system. You’ll need at least an Intel Core i5-4460 or an AMD Ryzen 3 1200, which isn’t too bad. It’s pretty much what you’d expect from any AAA release these days. As for graphics, the GTX 1060 and RX 570 are mentioned, which should get you by on lower settings. The 8GB of RAM requirement isn’t too high either, so it’s not like you’ll have to upgrade your memory just to play.
The recommended specs, however, are where things start to get more interesting. With an Intel Core i7-8700 or Ryzen 5 3600, and 16GB of RAM, it looks like the game will run smoothly at high settings with better visuals. If you’re like me and plan on playing at 1440p or even 4K, the GTX 1660 Ti or RX 5700 are pretty solid choices. That said, I’ll need to make sure my GPU is up to the task, since I’ve got a mid-range card right now.
So, after checking the requirements, I’m probably going to need an upgrade, especially if I want to play it on higher settings. What are you guys planning to run the game on? Let’s Cheap MH Wilds Items share some system specs and thoughts!
